These terms apply to the HoopArc iPhone app and the services at tryhooparc.com. By using HoopArc you agree to them.
The service
HoopArc helps you practise basketball by following your shots with your iPhone camera and keeping your training history. HoopArc is in development: shot detection can miss shots or count them wrongly, and features may change. Results are for your own practice and are not a measure of ability, a medical or fitness assessment, or professional coaching.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one with Sign in with Apple or Google, you are responsible for activity on it. You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete Account). We may suspend accounts used to abuse or disrupt the service.
Acceptable use
Do not try to access other people's data, interfere with the service, overload it, or use it to break the law. Train safely and be aware of your surroundings while using your iPhone near a court.
Your data
Your training data is yours. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
HoopArc is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of HoopArc, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If you keep using HoopArc after a change, the updated terms apply.
